This handmade Moroccan Treasure Box is incredibly beautiful! It is a showstopper and will stand out in any room or location. I have consulted experts who believe the box was made at the turn of the century given the materials and style.
It features a gorgeous domed top, 12 agates and semi-precious stones each handset with silver beads. The agates are very large; they are polished cabachon cuts. The semi-precious stones are smaller. There is a chain affixed to one side for stability for the lid.
The brass box absolutely gleams in the light. I have not attempted to clean the box because its patina is so beautiful. There is some tarnish around a few of the stones but this truly only adds to its antique beauty. The box has its original key!
Nailheads affix the brass to the wood box structure. It weighs 4 lbs. and will be expertly packaged for shipping.
