The Penn Monofil No. 25 is a saltwater reel, popular for surf, top, and bay fishing. It features brown Bakelite side plates and a distinctive handle knob, which can be green or, as seen in the image, a cream-colored swirl pattern. These reels are known for their heavy-duty construction and durability, making them suitable for catching fish such as striped bass, bluefish, and small tuna. Started producing in the 50’s.
